Project Overview

American Structural Engineering (ASE) served as a sub-consultant to DIDONATO in Buffalo, NY, for the biennial inspection of bridge structures spanning the Robert Moses Niagara Power Project, including the Visitor’s Center Pedestrian Bridge, which provides access to observation decks over the Niagara River Gorge at the Power Vista. ASE provided one complete team, including a Team Leader and Assistant Team Leader, as part of three teams performing the inspection. The ASE team conducted detailed field inspections of all critical structural members, prepared inspection reports, and ensured compliance with the biennial inspection requirements of the New York State Department of Transportation.
